Q. When should I take PROBACLACTM?
A.Probalac should be taken just before lunch, unless you are taking antibiotics, in which case Probalac should be taken 2 hours after taking the antibiotics.
Q.Can I open the capsule?
A. Yes. If you do not wish to swallow the capsule, you can the sprinkle the contents into foods such as yogurt or applesauce, or beverages such as milk or water.
Q.Can pregnant women take PROBACLACTM?
A. Yes, probiotics have been proven to be safe and harmless, and there is no reason to avoid taking Probaclac, because it is beneficial for both the mother and the unborn child.
Q. When should I start taking PROBACLACTM if I am planning to travel outside of the country?
A. Start taking PROBACLACTM 10 days before you leave, take it throughout your trip, and finish the bottle when you return.
Q. Can I take PROBACLACTM if I am lactose intolerant?
A. Yes, you can take PROBACLACTM if you are lactose intolerant. One of the properties of probiotics is the production of lactase, which metabolizes lactose.
Q. What is the difference between yogurt and probiotics in capsules?
A. Yogurt is a good food, but it is not an effective probiotic supplement. Commercial yogurts contain insufficient concentrations of probiotics. In addition, the bacterial strains that are used in yogurts are selected for their ability to survive in dairy products. Human strains, which are the most beneficial, do not tend to survive well in dairy products.
Q. Can I take PROBACLACTM if I am also taking blood-thinners (e.g.: Coumadin)?
A. Yes, you can take PROBACLACTM. Probiotics have no effect on the blood’s ability to clot.
Q. When should I take PROBACLACTM if I am taking antibiotics?
A. There should be a two-hour interval between taking antibiotics and taking probiotics, so PROBACLACTM should be taken either two hours before or two hours after taking antibiotics.
Q. Can I take PROBACLACTM if I am taking medication?
A. As a general rule, if a medication must be taken on an empty stomach, it is preferable to wait 2 hours after taking the medication before taking a probiotic. PROBACLACTM does not interact with other medications, which means that it can be taken with medication.
